Today is Election Day! CHS’s AP Government classes are using demographic and voting trend data to predict the Electoral College vote for today’s election. Students are also actively engaged in a mock election where teams are campaigning to earn endorsements from staff members before a final election at the end of the week.🇺🇸

Chillicothe had a big weekend in sports!
First, we’d love to announce that Gabby Maranzana placed 35th at the State Cross Country meet! This is a huge accomplishment and we are so proud!
Chillicothe Boys Soccer also played against DeSales in the regional finals. The game was hard fought, with a score 1-1 going into double overtime. The game ended in a shootout, and while DeSales won, we are infinitely proud of how far this team has come this season!
We truly have some star athletes!

Happy Halloween!

October 10th is The Great Apple Crunch Day, which is an opportunity to encourage everyone to eat apples as a snack and to support locally grown foods like Ross County apples. Ms. Kline's Family and Consumer Sciences class celebrated Apple Crunch with OSU Extension. Lisa Barlage and Ryan Kline, both FCS educators, spoke to the students about apples and conducted a lab with them. Students made Green Monster Smoothies, Apple Nachos, Apple Bacon Grilled Cheese, and Nut Butter and Apple Pockets.
